5K Training Plan
Running a 5K can add a new level of challenge and interest to your exercise program. If you're new to running, this 5K Training Plan will get you off the couch and running 3.1 miles in 8 weeks. Always consult with your physician before starting any training program.
TIPS: This plan is designed for those new to running. Follow the chart and alternate between running and walking until the full distance for that day is reached. Feel free to take a short walk on any rest day, but remember, it's essential that you stick to walking and allow your muscles to repair and rebuild.
