Easy, Cripsy Brussels Sprouts
One cup of brussels sprouts is a mere 40 calories, but provides 3.5 grams of fiber and 3 grams of protein. They’re also a solid
source of Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Vitamin A, and folate. Plus they’re extremely filling! Adding brussels sprouts to your meal will help
keep your calories down and your nutrients up.
1. Preheat oven to 400º F.
2. Cut stems off of brussels sprouts, then slice into halves (or fourths for especially large sprouts).
3. In a medium bowl, toss together brussels sprout halves, oil, garlic, pepper, and salt.
4. Spray a baking pan with nonstick cooking oil.
5. Spread coated brussels sprouts evenly among the pan, allowing plenty of space between them to prevent steaming.
6. Bake for 20 minutes or until browned. Shake pan occasionally to ensure even browning.
