The 3rd Annual MLK Day 5K will take place on Sunday,January 14th, 11:00am at the Vestal Coal House. The race celebrates the life of Martin Luther King Jr. and includes a inspirational quote contest with $50 cash prizes for each of the two winners. Proceeds benefit the Vestal Central Athletic Club, which promotes educational, physical, and emotional development of our youth and supports community sports in our area. This is a USATF certified 5K NY14087JG on the flat Vestal Rail Trail. There will be awards for overall and age group winners. Hot Chocolate and refreshments will be provided post-race. Registration is $20 with a shirt and $15 without a shirt. Race day registration will be from 9:00am - 10:55am at the Vestal Coal House. Online registration is available at MLKDay5K.itsYourRace.com.
