Northmont NJROTC 1st Annual Anchors Aweigh 5K and Obstacle Course, October 4, 2014 • 09:00 A.M.
Location: Centennial Park, 321 Union Blvd., Englewood, Ohio
Directions: Take I-70 to north on S.R. 48 (Englewood exit). Turn left on Wenger Rd. Right on Union Blvd., to left into Centennial Park. The race will start and finish inside the park.
Parking: Space will be available inside the park, in the Kmart lot (360 W. National Rd.) and at the Kleptz Early Childhood Learning Center (next to the YMCA, 1200 W. National Rd.)
Course; A flat, fast, 5K (certified) through a residential area. Race starts on YMCA Bikeway in Centennial Park and heads north to National Road where runners will turn left (heading west toward the YMCA). Turnaround is at Kleptz Early Learning Center parking lot. Runners then head east on YMCA Bikeway to Union Blvd where the route turns south. Obstacle course events are near the entrance to Centennial Park. The 5K route continues south on Union Blvd to right on Overla Blvd to left on Pauly Drive to right on Pauly Bikeway. Race concludes on the bikeway in Centennial Park. Traffic will not be an issue, but runners should stay
alert.
Fees: (Non-refundable) $30 (includes T-shirt). $35 for registrations received after Sept 29th and on the day of the

Team Discount: $25 per person for a team of four or more persons participating in the run AND obstacle
course.
Check-in and Registration: 08:00 am to 08:45 am. Run will begin at 09:00 am.
Pre-Packet Pick-Up: Friday, 3 October, 05:00 pm to 08:00 pm at Buffalo Wild Wings, 891 South Main St, Englewood, Ohio.
