Friday, September 12: 6:00 pm -10:00 pm: Packet pickup at the Village Green Saturday, September 13: 6:00 am -7:45 am: Check-in and race day registration
Start and finish will be at the same location on Prairie Stone Parkway. We will have one side of the street with a big grassy median separating us from the oncoming traffic.
Age Divisions: 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Awards:
- Overall male and female winner will receive a $100 gift card from Cabelas
- Top male and female in each age category will receive a $25 gift card from Cabelas
- Top three male and female in each age group will receive medals
- Special Finishers Awards and T-Shirt to all that participate
Event Rules:
- We kindly request that individuals that intend on walking the 5K start the event in the back so as not to interfere with those that intend on running.
- Each participant must sign the event waiver before participating in the 5K.
- Baby joggers, baby strollers, skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or any other wheeled device is not permitted on the course.
- Dogs and other animals are not permitted on the course.
- Participants must begin the event at the official recognized start time.
- Participants are responsible for verifying that the timing device provided as part of their bib is working properly prior to the race and worn correctly at all times during the race. Any person participating in the event without an official event bib number is subject to removal.
- Participants are responsible for their recognition and understanding of event signage and symbols relating to participant maps, facilities, and directions.
- Participants are responsible and assume liability for any and all medical expenses incurred as a result of participant in the event.
- Participants must follow instructions as given from all event officials including volunteers, medical personnel, security officers, and city officials throughout the duration of the event. Any participant who refuses to obey the directions of event officials, or who conducts himself/herself in an unsportsmanlike manner, or who is offensive by action or language, may be disqualified from the event.
- Event officials reserve the right to modify, supplement, or waive all or part of the event rules. Participants shall be bound by any modification or supplement of the event rules published prior to the event.
