New Year Neon 5K / 1 K Fun Run

Join us for our first annual run to benefit WHS Pirate Pacesetters.
We will kick off the event with a 5K and 1K fun run
(Starting at visitor's side of Pirate Stadium)
Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome.

The race will be chip timed and
managed by the Rockwall Running Center.
WHEN/WHERE: Saturday, January 16,2016 WHS visitor’s side of Pirate stadium
Start
time for this event is 9:00am. Check in time 8:00 am
REGISTRATION: Online registration
is available at www.itsyourrace.com
$20.00 and $25.00 after May 10th until race day.
The
1K Fun Run will be $15 for adults and $10.00 for kids until January 10th and $20.00
for adults and $15.00 for kids during late registration.
AWARDS: Prizes will be awarded for the
overall top 3 Female/ Male finishers Placement
medals will be given to top finishers in each age bracket.
Under 12,
13-19, 20-35, 36-50, 51 – over
Finisher ribbons
will be awarded to children and 1K participants.
A prize will be given to the best
dressed Neon themed participant.
REFRESHMENTS: Plenty of post-race refreshments
available for all participants
COURSE: You will
be rewarded with this flat scenic course through a beautiful Founders park.
The
start and finish line will be at the WHS Pirate Stadium visitor’s side
