The Caumsett Foundation Junior Committee is proud to announce the second annual 5K Run/Walk for Caumsett. “Run for Caumsett 5K” will take place at Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve on Sunday, May 17th, 2015 rain or shine; Registration opens at 7:30am and closes promptly at 8:45am, so please make sure to arrive with ample time to register and prepare for the race. The running portion of the race will kick off as 9am, and the walk will begin at 9:10am.
Time Reminder: The 5K run will begin at 9:00am. The 5K walk will begin shortly thereafter at 9:10am.
Race participants are urged to arrive at least 1 hour prior to the race start to sign in. This will help us avoid bottlenecks at registration, allow ample stretching time for runners and walkers, and make sure the race starts on time!

Additional Information: The race will begin past the walled garden, heading east around the loop and will end with a cool down in the Walled Garden. Refreshments
will be provided to participants in the Walled Garden following the
race where each runner will also receive a complimentary t-shirt while supplies last (Online registrants are guaranteed a t-shirt). Race participants will be divided into
several age groups, and there will be an awards ceremony upon
completion of the race.
Awards include prizes and gift certificates from local vendors.
