Welcome to the 11th Annual Run and Walk Against Hunger -- a Thanksgiving Morning tradition supporting the Emergency Food Bank!
The Michael David Family Foundation Run & Walk Against Hunger is a 5K run/walk, a 10K (run only) and a Kid's 1/4 mile run. It's an annual event for the whole family! The flat, fast out and back course takes participants through Stockton's Weber Point and Waterfront area. Walkers have their own scenic course along the waterfront. Strollers and wheel chairs are welcome, however, please start behind the runners to help avoid a possible collision.
Take advantage of the discounted rate by registering early. Early Registration starts August 1st thru October 31st! Regular registration starts November 1st. Race day registration is also available.
Participants receive an official Run & Walk Against Hunger long-sleeved shirt and have the option to upgrade to a technical long-sleeved shirt for an additional $10. Participants also receive a goodie bag that includes vouchers to cheer on Stockton's newest hockey team, the Stockton Heat, and the University of the Pacific's Basketball team!
Packet pick-up and registration will be available for 3 days (Nov. 23, 24 and 25) at Fleet Feet Stockton from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. If you bring two non-perishable food items to donate to the Emergency Food Bank, you will receive a 15% discount on that entire day's purchase at Fleet Feet Stockton!
Run and Walk Against Hunger photos will be available free of charge on race day, and online after the event at Captivating Sports. (Use the drop-down menu and click on "2015 Run Against Hunger").
You can also donate non-perishable food items at the ballpark on race day. Drop off your donations in the bins located next to the Run & Walk Against Hunger Turkey! All donated food items go directly to the Emergency Food Bank to help fight hunger locally.
What time is the event?
Race day registration starts at 6:30am until 8:25am. The Kids 1/4 Mile starts at 8:00am. The 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run both start at 8:30am.
What are my parking options at the event?
Parking is free at the large parking lot located to the west of the ballpark off Harrison Street, south of Fremont.

There will be no refunds. The event goes on rain or shine and the forecast looks great!
