We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Littlest Angels: Walk for Trisomy 18. This walk was created to honor the families and loved ones of those affected by this terminal diagnosis. Please join us as we seek to raise awareness and support the efforts of the Trisomy 18 Foundation.
Trisomy 18, also known as Edwards syndrome, is a life-threatening condition which results in an extra chromosome #18. This occurs in 1 in every 6,000 newborns, and of those who survive birth only 5-10% live to celebrate their first birthday.
Littlest Angels: Walk for Trisomy 18 is the vision of one family to honor the life of their beautiful angel MaCari Marie Kinney who was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 shortly after her birth in 2008. Although she was given only 1 year to live MaCari thrived for 7 wonderful years. While MaCari's battle ended peacefully in April of 2015, our family feels privileged to support and encourage other families who are in the midst of this battle.
Thank you for your support!
