The Eleonore Rocks 5K in Willard, Ohio is a charitable race and walk scheduled for Saturday, April 29, 2017.
This event consists of a competitive 5K Run and Walk. Each participant of the 5K will receive an event T-Shirt, and post-race refreshments will be served. Register by April 1st to be guaranteed a choice in shirt size.
Awards will be given for the top overall running AND walking male and female finishers, as well as for the top running and walking male and female finishers in the following age group categories: Under 15, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
All proceeds from this event will be donated directly to the Eleonore Rocks Foundation. We strive to have a positive impact on the lives of sick children and their families, with primary efforts focused on the donation of high quality rocking chairs to NICU's in hospitals throughout the country. We have donated over 500 rocking chairs since established in 2009! Some recent donations include 80 chairs to the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, 45 chairs to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, 16 to The Ohio State University Medical Center, and 36 to Duke University hospital.
The awards ceremony will begin at approximately 10:00 a.m. near the Start/Finish.
