KMR Youth 5K

THE 2019 KMR YOUTH 5K IS BEING RESCHEDULED

Please join us on Friday May 17, 2019 at Como Lake Park in Lancaster, NY for the K.I.A. Memorial Roadmarch (KMR) 5K Youth race. This unique event is a 5K Ruck (walk/run) carrying a backpack full of school supplies through Como Lake Park . It is a fun & challenging way to remember those Military members who were Killed In Action serving our Country. There will be special KMR Challenges for Children to try throughout the course & every child will get a finish line gift!

START/FINISH
Official 5K Start Time: 6:00PM.
The 5K race will start and finish at Como Park in Lancaster and is open to students age 10 to 18. There will be a pre-race ceremony at 5:30PM and the race will start promptly at 6:00PM. Each participant will be asked to carry a backpack full of school supplies that will be collected after the race and donated to military family readiness groups and Veterans in need.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Race day registration and packet pickup will take place at Como Lake Park from 5:00pm right up until the start of the race at 6:00pm. All pre-registered participants (By May 10, 2019) are guaranteed to receive an official race shirt and finish line gift. Extra shirts/gifts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

POST RACE CELEBRATION
Join us after the race for a post race celebration including a snack, music and the awards ceremony.

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking at Como Lake Park.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Prizes will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each of the following age groups:

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
