Fast/Flat Scenic 3.4 mile Run /Walk along the St. Lawrence River to benefit the Louisville Volunteer Fire Department
About this Event:
The Turtle Trot Walk Run will begin at Whalen Park in the town of Louisville. The park is located 1.5 miles west of the Massena County Club on State Route 131. The race course is a 3.4 mile flat, fast, scenic route along the beatutiful St. Lawrence River
Start/Finish:
The 3.4 mile race course begins on Rt. 131 at the Whalen Park entrance. Participants will turn left near the Massena Country Club and come back to Whalen Park on the trail along the St. Lawrence River. Registration and Packet Pickup:
Same day registration will start at 8:30 am at the Whalen Park pavilion. T-shirt/bib bag can be picked up at registration table.
Schedule of Events:
The race will begin at 10 am on July 13, 2019.
Parking:
The NYS police will close off the portion of Rt. 131 used for the race. The LVFD will direct parking.
T-Shirts:
Free unisex t-shirts will be awarded to the first 150 to register. The cutoff date to guarantee t-shirt size is June 14, 2019.
Awards:
1st place male/female per age group: 15 & under; 16-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+
