Run Attack Poverty!
Join us on Saturday, September 23, 2023, to support Attack Poverty and help empower people to attack poverty in their lives and community. The 12th Annual Run to Attack Poverty will be held at the Attack Poverty - North Rosenberg, located at 1908 Avenue E in Rosenberg. 

Attack Poverty’s mission is to strengthen under-resourced communities through spiritual growth, education, revitalization, and basic needs.
We are a global organization that serves locally, adopting pockets of poverty and launching what we call ‘Friends Communities’. These are long-term commitments that require mutual relationships and collaborative efforts with local organizations, churches, residents, and stakeholders committed to community transformation. Our community programs include in-school student support, after-school programs, literacy, Adult GED completion, English as a Second Language classes, job readiness training, and home repair.

Can't be with us on Race Day? Don't worry! Register as a Virtual Runner and run with us from anywhere around the world! Virtual Runners will receive their event shirt and swag bag via USPS. International runners will be charged an additional $15 for shipping. Register by September 15, 2023, to receive your race swag by Race Day. Registrations received after September 15 will receive a swag bag and shirt but they may not arrive by September 23.

Further your support of Attack Poverty and become a fundraiser! Every registered participant will receive an auto-generated fundraising page. Claim your page and customize it, telling everyone why you support Attack Poverty! Send your unique fundraising url to your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors and ask them to support your efforts. Raise $200 or more and receive a special gift from Attack Poverty!

5K - 8:00 a.m.
Kids K - 9:15 a.m.

Stick around after your race and enjoy complimentary food, fun, and fellowship at the Run to Attack Poverty Post-Race Party! Featuring a family-friendly Kids Zone, vendor booths hosted by our event sponsors, and heart-pumping music to keep your feet moving, the Run to Attack Poverty Post-Race Party will be the place to be on September 23!

Age Groups: The top 3 male and female finishers in each age group will win a medal. The Overall Male and Female finishers and Overall Masters Male and Masters Female finishers in both the 5K and 10K divisions will win an award.
