Packet Pick Up & Last Minute Registration: At the Flora-Bama - IN THE TENT
Friday, April 19th from 4 PM – 6 PM
Late Pickup: Saturday, April 20th from 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM.
No pick-up after the race Start
RACE START TIME:The race will start promptly at 7am.
it is a chip start/chip finish race.
THE COURSE:
You will begin with the swim portion for 1/4 mile in the Ole River behind the Flora-Bama Ole River Grill (wetsuits are optional).
Then transition into the bike segment at the Flora-Bama's North Parking Lot (in front of the Ole River Grill). Our course will be 16.5 miles and will begin at the Ole River Grill headed West to Alabama, go underneath the Perdido Pass Bridge, then back East into Florida on Perdido Key Dr. Cyclists will follow the road and make a left onto River Road and follow underneath the Theo Baars Bridge and will return onto Perdido Key Drive. Follow Perdido Key Dr. West and arrive back at the Ole River Grill. Bike Helmets are required & participants must walk their bikes through the transition area.
Participants will then transition for the 3.9 mile run at the Ole River Grill, head West into Alabama, turn around under the Perdido Pass Bridge, and finish back right in front of the Flora-Bama on the South side of Perdido Key Drive.

Divisions (You may choose only 1):-Individual Triathlon (Age Group). Male/Female Overall Winners. Male & Female AG Awards 1st,2nd,3rd: 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & up
-Athena is for women weighing 145 lbs or more. Overall Winner. Two age awards: 39 & under and 40+.
-Clydesdale is for men weighing 200 lbs or more. Overall Winner. Two age awards: 39 & under and 40+.
-Super Clydesdale is for men weighing 225 lbs or more. Must "weigh-in" at packet pick-up. Overall Winner. Two age awards: 39 & under and 40+. Super Senior Clydesdales are age 55+.
-Fat Tire is for anyone riding a Fat Tire or Mountain Bike. Male/Female Overall Winners. Two age awards: 39 & under and 40+.
-First Timers is for men and women first time triathletes who have never done a triathlon before. Male/Female Overall Winners.
If you choose to do the event as a team, then the following rules will apply:
- Relay Team can be composed of 2 or 3 athletes (Male/Male, Male/Female, Female/Female, Male/Male/Female, Female/Female/Female, Female/Female/Male or Male/Male/Male)
- The team will receive one timing chip. The timing chip acts as a “baton” and team members must hand off the timing strap/chip to move forward to the next leg. Relay athletes must keep the ankle strap and chip on their Left ankle at all times until making the transfer between team members.
-Awards for this division is based on fastest times regarless of team composition.
PARTY:Party Our celebration and awards will take place immediately after the race under the Tent in the Flora-Bama. Amazing breakfast buffet and free draft beer for participants!
There are no refunds or transfers if you cannot attend the event. 7.5% sales tax is added to all registrations as required by Florida law.
Recumbent bikes or hand-cycle bikes are not allowed unless you have an ADA listed disability that requires its use. Please contact us if you have an ADA listed disability that requires specific equipment, or considerations, and we will work with you to accommodate your needs.
