5K Run/Walk in Warriors Mark PA - May 4, 2019 at 8:30am
5K Run/Walk to support Volunteer First Responding Organizations. This event is being held at the Warriors Mark Volunteer Fire Company in Warriors Mark PA. Registration from 7:00am-8:15am and race start time will be 8:30am.
The Lieutenant 22-40 First Responder Foundation mission is to provide funding towards grants, supporting education, training, and lifesaving equipemnt needs for volunteer fire companies to better service their communities.
Individual runners welcome as well as Duty Gear Team Challengers:
Fire, Rescue and Law Enforcement Departments are welcome to participate in the Duty Gear Team Challenge (3 person minimum, in turnout/duty gear, present race day) and compete for Cash Prizes ($100 for EACH division -Fire, Rescue & Law Enforcement departments based on best overall team time) along with medals (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) for individual first responders in each division. A Student plaque will be awarded to the school team with best overall time, and a Community Team plaque awarded to largest participating team (business or any group).
