Spread the Love for Pathfinders 5k Run/Walk

Location: Rio Grande Park in Aspen, CO

What: 1^st Annual “Spread the Love for Pathfinders Run/Walk” – help the Pathfinders organization raise funds for their future endeavors by running/walking the 5k course through downtown Aspen, CO!

Course Map / Detailed Step-By-Step: Pathfinder 5k Interactive Map

1. Exit Rio Grande Park by turning left on to Mill Street (course marshals needed)
2. Turn Right on to Bleeker (course marshals)
3. Turn Right on to Monarch
4. Turn left on to Hallam
5. Turn Right on to N. 1^st St (course marshals)
6. Follow 1^st St (veers left) to Lake Ave
7. Turn Left on Gillespie St
8. Turn Left on N. 6^th St
9. Turn Right on North St (course marshals)
10. Veer Right on to Meadows Road
11. Turn Left on to Meadows Trail (we suggest an aid station here)
12. Follow Meadows Trail to Rio Grande Trail
13. Turn Right on Rio Grande Trail
14. Follow Rio Grande Trail back towards Rio Grande park
15. Where Rio Grande converges near the post office, racers will go left, travel over the bridge, then under Mill street, pass by the old art museum, over the bridge, past the restroom and then turning right up to the park. Pitkin Outside has a great map that will allow you to zoom in and follow.

PACKET PICKUP SCHEDULE:

• Friday (July 19, 2019), 3:00pm – 6:00pm @ Outside of Clarks Market (Google Maps)
• Saturday (July 20, 2019), 6:30am – 7:30am @ Rio Grande Park (Google Maps)

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

• 6:30am - 7:30am: Last minute packet pickup / day of registration
• 8:00am - 5k Run / Walk Start
• Awards: 9:00am (tentatively)

THINGS TO KNOW:

1. All courses are subject to change until the start of each race.
2. All trails and roads are open to public. Please pay attention & respect the authorities’ instructions.
