Worcester Sports Booster Club Block Party 5K and 2mile stroll
Join us for for a wonderful community event at the Worcester Sports Booster Club and Block Party 5k and 2mile stroll on August 17, 2019, 4pm.
Please register online from June 1, 2019 through August 1, 2019 to be guaranteed a T-Shirt.
Online registration for students, grades K-12, is $15.00 (plus registration fees).
Online registration for adults out of school is $25.00 (plus registration fees).
Day of the event registration will also be available in front of Cash Oil on Main Street (sorry, no t-shirts for day of registration).
Day of registration for students, grades K-12, is $20.00.
Day of registration for adults out of school is $30.00.
Packet Pick-up will be in front of Cash Oil on Main Street from 2-3:30 the day of the race, August 17, 2019.
What do you get for participating in an awesome community event that supports our local children?
* A sweet t-shirt designed by one of Worcesters talented kids (if you register online 6/1-8/1)
* Clarks Sports Center timing
* Water station just before the half way point
* Water, juice, chocolate milk and bananas at the end of the race
* Race times emailed directly to you
* A finishers photo
* 1st, 2nd or 3rd place medals for males and females in the following age groups:
-6 - 9
-10 - 13
-14 - 17
-18 and over
After the race there will be a chance to check out some food vendors, have a beer, listen to music, visit with your neighbors and maybe meet some new ones too!
At dark there will be a bonfire and a raffle for your chance to win a WSBC cornhole set!
Please note:
* This is an out and back race.
* There will be support but all runners/strollers need to be aware that this is a road race and the
roads will not be closed.
* Always run/stroll against traffic and remember SAFETY FIRST.
