This is the first Buckeye Lake Historical Society Float the Boat 5K. This race is to help return a piece of history back to Buckeye Lake by raising funds to refurbish the Queen of the Lake III, a paddlewheel boat that will take passengers on site seeing and dinner cruises in the future once the project is complete. This race is also going to be the first race held on the new Buckeye Lake Dam that is now complete. Race participants will enjoy the view of Buckeye Lake as they run or walk on the path that is along the water.

Directions to Buckeye Lake North Shore State Park Boat LaunchFrom Columbus via I-70 - - Follow I-70 East to OH-79 S/Hebron Road in Union Township. Take exit 129A.
Turn Right onto OH-79 S/Hebron Road. Take a slight Left at Walnut Road. This will take you into the Parking Lot. Registration will be at the Shelter House next to the Boat Launch.
