HOLY GUACAMOLE
There's nothing quite like mashing up a ripe avocado and whipping up some homemade guac!
- 4 avocados pitted (set the pits aside, don't throw them away)
- Half of a small red or white onion
- Half of a large tomato
- Half of a jalapeno (seeds removed, unless you want it extra spicy)
- 1 TBSP of lime juice
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: black beans or thawed frozen corn
1. Cut up the onion, tomato and jalapeno. Set aside.
2. Mash the avocados in a large mixing bowl.
3. Mix in the onion, tomato, jalepeno, lime juice, garlic salt, salt, and pepper.
Serve immediately or refrigerate.
TIP: Put the pits back in the guacamole, it's suppose to help slow down the browning process.
