Holiday Hustle 5K Run/Walk

Local community members have formed a volunteer committee that will hold the second annual Holiday Hustle 5K Run/Walk. This year’s proceeds will benefit the charity Coal City Hope for Help. This organization provides basic necessities to those in need. Such as lunch assistance, cleaning supplies, rides to appointments, emergency clothing and shelter. The race will start at Babe’sTap, 755 S. Broadway, travel south on Broadway St. to Reed Rd., left and loop through Cardinal Transport and then back north on Broadway. There is a non-refundable $30 entry fee for early registration and $35 fee on race day. Participants will receive goodie bags. Awards will be presented to the top male and female winners. Age divisions for men and women are 13-19, 20-54, 55 and over.
